Burglaries

No burglaries reported this week in the North and South Kona districts, according to police.

Vehicle theft

March 16, a silver 2013 mo-ped reported stolen in the area of Manago Hotel in South Kona. It bears registration number H-34654.

March 16, a white 2005 Mazda3 reported stolen in the area of mile marker 97 in South Kona. It bears license plate No. HLM-660.

Theft from vehicle

March 17, medication, vehicle registration and insurance paperwork and miscellaneous tools reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of 74-5200 Kihawahine Place in North Kona.

March 19, miscellaneous hiking gear and a Samsung cell phone reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Kiholo Bay in North Kona.

March 20, luggage containing medication, a gold-colored watch, long-sleeve T-shirt and other items reported stolen in the area of Kua Bay in North Kona.

March 20, a man reported seeing an unknown male sitting in his parked vehicle in the area of 76-6200 Alii Drive in North Kona. The unknown male fled the scene and upon further checks within the vehicle no items were found missing.

Between March 18 and 20, an Apple laptop reported stolen from a vehicle on Queen Kaahumanu Highway in North Kona.

Theft

March 16, a purse left unattended reported stolen in the area of 75-900 Henry St. in North Kona.

March 16, a woman reported her Apple iPhone stolen while she slept at a beach on Alii Drive in North Kona.

March 18, an Easy Rider rubber speed bump reported stolen from the Hualalai Village condominiums in North Kona.

March 19, a man sleeping at Honls surf spot reported that when he woke up his backpack was missing in North Kona.

March 19, a black Trek mountain bike reported stolen in the area of Walmart off Henry Street in North Kona.

March 20, two luggage bags reported stolen in the area of 75-5700 Alii Drive in North Kona.

March 21, jewelry reported stolen in the area of 73-1400 Kahakea St. in North Kona.

March 22, money reported stolen in the area of 73-1200 Melomelo St. in North Kona.
